This is a strictly no fuss recipe. Just a ridiculously quick, easy to make cake that's perfect with a cup of tea or vanilla ice cream. The messier the presentation the better!
Ingredients
1 cup of flour
4 teaspoons of baking powder
1/3 cup of sugar
1 egg
½ cup of milk
3 tablespoons of melted butter
3 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons of butter
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees
2. Grease a baking dish and line
with paper (I use a 20cm round one)
3. Sift flower & baking powder
in a large bowl
4. Add sugar & mix
5. Beat together egg and milk and
add to dry ingredients
6. Add melted butter and stir
gently (don’t overmix)
7. Bake for 30 minutes
8. Melt the honey and remaining
butter in a small pan
9. Prick holes in hot cake
with a fork and pour on top
Ramadan Kareem!

This sounds like a very easy recipe I'll have to try. I always have a particular sweet tooth in Ramadan. I break my fast, have some of the main meal, but I'm already craving something sweet!!
