Warm honey tea cake
This is a strictly no fuss recipe. Just a ridiculously quick, easy to make cake that's perfect with a cup of tea or vanilla ice cream. The messier the presentation the better!
Ingredients
1 cup of flour
4 teaspoons of baking powder
1/3 cup of sugar
1 egg
½ cup of milk
3 tablespoons of melted butter
3 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons of butter
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees
2. Grease a baking dish and line
with paper (I use a 20cm round one)
3. Sift flower & baking powder
in a large bowl
4. Add sugar & mix
5. Beat together egg and milk and
add to dry ingredients
6. Add melted butter and stir
gently (don’t overmix)
7. Bake for 30 minutes
8. Melt the honey and remaining
butter in a small pan
9. Prick holes in hot cake
with a fork and pour on top
Ramadan Kareem!

Why I blog
With a passion of a thousand suns I love to write... and I have an natural unnatural tendency to document things... that would be the short story of why I love being in research.
the hardest thing however, is to not let it take over almost every aspect of your life. the story of this blog is to help achieve that balance, by simply sharing the things I enjoy :).
